Hello!! :D This is basically the most basic form of a website

This is going to be just stuffed full of wonderful resources and its gonna be all written in html, with no css or style tags just for simplicity and time. Writing this at almost midnight after work lol.

I'm just gonna shove the list inside this paragraph tag so that you can see how to nest stuff together
Oh also I am gonna probably make u download vscode so if I forget to tell you uhhh go download it to see and edit this document

Time to get all my links and resources in here!!
  1. This is visual studio code!
  2. It's what I tend to use for coding. Theres a bunch of different ones, but this one stands out for it's ability to provide live previews with a plugin
  3. This is sadgrl's layout builder!
  4. This is a super easy to use and customize css fueled layout builder. A lot of indie web websites are at least fundamentally thrown together with this type of navbar centered layout.
  5. w3schools
  6. my favorite website for learning so many little coding languages, with optional quizzes to test yourself!
  7. This is a forum that is centered around indie web website design, and a place full of wonderful people and their websites
  8. Here is melonland surf club
  9. My first webring that introduced me to it all! A webring is a bunch of websites all linked together by some shared aspect, with buttons that lead to eachother in a circle. thats the ring!
  10. This is the gif gallery!
  11. This is my favorite spot to browse for fun gifs. I have spent hours clicking through the gif gallery.
  12. File garden! A place to hold all of your files
  13. Imbedding files with a link to a seperate website is generally a better solution compared to hosting them natively on your website. Imbedding them from other websites will make the file size of your website smaller, and make it easier to run for your visitors!

Startin a new paragraph for no reason whatsoever, just to show more website structure goodness. Here is one of my favorite videos from a little channel called loveweb I got hyperfixated on and donated to their patreon a while back. Fantastic little video just to gain inspo and learn more about the movement.

In the end the rest is up to you! This is the best starting point I can give you, but surfing the web should be a personal and fun adventure! if you ever want fun websites that I have found along the way let me know and I'll shoot them ur way :DD Good luck and have fun!!!
